Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. Following her training in kickboxing, boxing BJJ and wrestling, she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd was able to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first moment. Ladd returned to WCFC where she defeated Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen by unanimous decision. This left a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was able to bounce back to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and was able to dominate her, securing a first-round TKO. Aspen won her subsequent fight with Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at Bantamweight for her subsequent fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen employed her impressive wrestler skills to knock down McGill before ending her bout with third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd was unable to reach her weight. But, Aspen was able to outclass Hoy. She finished her via TKO in the second-round. Her final fight with the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks via unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 in the fight against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by a ground and pound victory during the 2nd Round. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the first round. She also got a Performance of The Night prize. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award was presented to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak in only 16 seconds. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya after the third round on UFC on ESPN 7. The fight was with Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
